RUBIDIUM Rb 82 CHLORIDE (roo BID e um Rb 82 KLOR ide) is a radiopharmaceutical. It is used during a PET scan to evaluate blood flow to areas of the heart.

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

• an unusual or allergic reaction to rubidium chloride, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
• heart disease
• pregnant or trying to get pregnant
• breast-feeding

How should I use this medication?

This medicine is for injection into a vein. It is given by a health care professional in a hospital or clinic setting.

Do not breast-feed an infant while taking this medicine. Pump and discard breast milk for at least 1 hour after receiving this medicine.
